A STAINLESS-STEEL-CLAD metal or alloy is a composite product consisting of a thin layer of stainless steel in the form of a veneer integrally bonded to one or both surfaces of the substrate. The principal object of such a product is to combine, at low cost, the desirable properties of the stainless steel and the backing material for applications where full-gage alloy construction is not required. While the stainless cladding furnishes the necessary resistance to corrosion, abrasion, or oxidation, the backing material contributes structural strength and improves the fabricability and thermal conductivity of the composite. Stainless steel-clad metals can be produced in plate, strip, tube, rod, and wire form.

Application Wear Resistant Overlay Steel Plate Welding Machine

Wear resistant overlay steel plate is using special high hardness open arc wire to overlay uniformly resistant alloy cladding layer processing, to protect the surface from ordinary carbon steel plate. Its working principle is the work piece is placed on the work piece carrier; welding arm with open arc welding torches on gantry frame move horizontally, up and down; so that the welding nozzle head aligning on the welding seam, and then by the gantry shelf moving on the rail as straight line, weld automatically. This machine can weld four welding seam at the same time.
